DOD-Inkjet Systems

High-Resolution Print Quality

Drop-on-demand (DOD) for detailed and future-proof print results.

betaJET

Uncompromising reliable

The betaJET series offers everything modern production demands: high-resolution printing, GS1 compatibility, and full readiness for the future. Whether QR codes, 2D codes, product information, or logos – variable marking takes place directly on the production line, just in time and in top quality. With its impressive resolution and large print area, the betaJET DOD inkjet printer easily handles even complex requirements – whether on primary, secondary, or tertiary packaging. And it works on all materials, absorbent or non-absorbent alike. Thanks to smart interfaces, the betaJET integrates seamlessly into existing machinery and can be connected to common software solutions (KBC-Designer, Codesoft, Nicelabel) for print image creation.

betaJET HRX –
Marking in Greyscale & CPE

Precision in Contrast. Ink by Demand.

The unique grayscale printing technology takes product coding to the next level by using fine monochrome shading to deliver outstanding results that meet the highest quality standards.

With the new CPE technology (Contrast Per Element), industrial coding becomes even smarter. The contrast of each individual print element can be adjusted independently, all within a single print image. What does that mean?
1D and 2D codes, texts, and logos can be printed with variable contrast – enabling customized print images while significantly reducing ink consumption.

Top-tier print quality focused where it’s needed most, with optimized ink usage and stable system performance.

FAQ - Your Questions, Our DOD Answers

A high-resolution DOD (Drop-on-Demand) printing system is an industrial inkjet printer that only releases ink droplets when they are needed – hence "on demand." Thanks to advanced piezo technology, it produces sharp, high-resolution prints, making it ideal for fine text, graphics, barcodes, or logos on a variety of materials.

A DOD (Drop-on-Demand) system offers numerous advantages: It delivers high-resolution print images with great precision, conserves ink and resources, and allows for quick and flexible adaptation to various printing requirements. In addition, it is low-maintenance, suitable for a wide range of materials, and increases overall production efficiency. When it comes to sustainability, a DOD system is particularly impressive: It requires neither labels nor thermal transfer ribbons, and energy consumption is very low. This makes the technology both environmentally friendly and cost-effective.

The DOD printing system is capable of marking a broad range of materials. Oil-based inks are used for absorbent materials such as paper or cardboard, while UV inks are ideal for non-absorbent surfaces like plastic, glass, or metal. This flexibility makes the system suitable for diverse applications across various industries.

Our DOD systems are known for their precise print quality, versatile applications, and efficient use of resources. They produce sharp, high-quality prints on a wide range of materials, whether on primary, secondary, or tertiary packaging. Additionally, they are characterized by minimal maintenance requirements.
