Automatic Marking directly in the Robotic Cell

Marking of precision grinding wheels

alphaJET 5 in robotic application

Two alphaJET 5 X continuous inkjet printers have been seamlessly integrated into the traversing axis of the robotic arm. The print heads move synchronously
with the robotic arm and precisely apply black markings consisting of logos, product names, and manufacturer data to the multicolored precision grinding wheels, with the black ink adhering perfectly to the colorful surfaces. The markings are tailored to different wheel diameters and can also be reliably applied to metal surfaces. Reliable and accurate, even under demanding production conditions. The wheels have widely varying surface structures, from coarse to fine-pored, yet the alphaJET ensures that the ink is applied cleanly, precisely, and permanently legibly.
